Why Gay Parents May Be the Best Parents
By Stephanie Pappas | LiveScience.com
... in some ways, gay parents may bring talents to the table that straight parents don't.
Gay parents "tend to be more motivated, more committed than heterosexual parents on average, because they chose to be parents," said Abbie Goldberg, a psychologist at Clark University in Massachusetts who researches gay and lesbian parenting. Gays and lesbians rarely become parents by accident, compared with an almost 50 percent accidental pregnancy rate among heterosexuals, Goldberg said. "That translates to greater commitment on average and more involvement."
And while research indicates that kids of gay parents show few differences in achievement, mental health, social functioning and other measures, these kids may have the advantage of open-mindedness, tolerance and role models for equitable relationships, according to some research. Not only that, but gays and lesbians are likely to provide homes for difficult-to-place children in the foster system, studies show... |
From a biological standpoint, which is perfectly opposed to the present Madison Ave zeitgeist, there is no such thing as gay parents. A male and a male can not create a child. This is a biological fact of our species.
The concept of "gay" in modern society is 100% the creation of Hollywood and related degenerate factions. Homosexual men have never - ever - desired to raise children as a "family values" unit. Google mannerbund and Evola for more info.
Both suicidal Christian family values and current degenerate inclusive values are creations of powerful people. What the lower 80% of the bell curve thinks moral is the plaything of the powerful. Gay men, today, are an exceedingly loyal consumer group and even more loyal political faction. Should they start thinking for themselves, they'll soon find themselves demons in contemporary discourse. |

By that definition, adoptive parents do not exist either, especially if they are infertile couples. OTOH, it is certainly true that there are people who are attracted to their own sex who have had their own biological offspring, so one can certainly, technically speaking, be a "gay" "parent."
I will agree with you however on the "family values" issue. Prior to the modern gay liberation era, marriage akin to the heterosexual model was something to which few homosexuals aspired. |
