This is the weirdest policy they have. I paid for EMS the most expensive shipping method and they said they dont allow insurance to applied to electronics.
So whats the purpose of getting insurance if I cant insure what Im sending?
I dont need insurance for socks and ramien

Another thing is, they always single me out when sending a normal boxed package by airmail, asking me everytime what the contents are and being hesitant to proceed. WTH???

What you are saying sounds exactly like:

I went to McDonald's and got their MOST EXPENSIVE set meal, and I didn't get proper silverware. WTH???

Try a service like DHL. Yes, it is more expensive but you can get better "service".

WTH are you talking about?? EMS is premium shipping service which is equal to DHL actually even better coz its just as fast. It seems the postal workers dont know whats insurable and whats not. Similar to getting differet stories at immi where workers give different answers at different times

EMS HAS an insurance option. Trust me I shipped tons since being here using all different methods. If they have insurance I should be able to insure my package

AFAIK EMS is NOT end to end shipping. They hand it over to a third party once it arrives at the country of choice. DHL is generally end to end.

What EMS is though is very reasonably priced and reliable.
