has anyone ever had a suit made at Dainty's in sinsa/apgujeong?
i saw the simon and martina video blog but that was only for shirts/vests.
recommended? |

they are not bad. Cheap (2 tailor made for 480,000) and I think they had them done in a week. 'Dainty' is actually a chain and have several spots around Seoul but I can only speak for the one you referred to.
....but if they can make Simon out of Simon and Martina look good, well...... |

I'd like to know this as well. The shirts and vest that I got from them are still in great condition to this day, so I'd be comfortable in trying out their suits. Just...need a reason to buy a suit. |

My wedding suit was made by Dainty near Apkujeong somewhere. Business is likely all done at a central location, anyway. Dainty is a well-known chain.
The suit itself was OK. Price was good. You could, as mentioned, get a decent deal on 2 suits. When I got mine 4 years ago, it was 2 suits for 370,000.
You could do worse, but as with all things like this, you sort of get what you pay for.
I did get a white shirt made (it was white with some blue thread material in it) and the blue thread all started coming out at the waist. That is more of a problem with material choice than anything, though.
For the price, I'd buy there again. |
