My previous employer fired me without warning so I began doing immediate job searches. I found a new hagwon that would be opening this year that would hire me by February or I have received another offer in a better area of Seoul that would hire me in March. At the new hagwon, I would be the only foreign teacher and the director is still learning how to manage a hagwon. However, at the offer for March the school has been open for awhile and there are other foreign teachers there. Do you think I should take the Feb. offer so I can get housing and work faster? Or, do you think I would be better off holding off until March to start work? |

Hands down - MARCH.
In the meantime, get thee down to immigration and take care of your visa status - transfer BEFORE the 30 day mark of your unemployment OR switch to a D10 visa.

March is the better offer. The Feb one is a toss up. New small schools can be great to hair pulling stress. Plus throw in a newbie boss/owner - does not help the situation. |
