Did you Google "Daz Loader"? The second link that will show up is a YouTube video that explains what you will find in the first link and how to go about making your Windows legit.

This is Dave's and I don't think he would much much appreciate me directly linking you to a file that will circumvent Windows authentication.

I know the OP didn't ask but for anyone reading this thread, try Linux- it's free. I've been using it for almost three years. For two years I dual booted with Win 7 Ultimate. You can dl Ubuntu and burn it to a disk or USB to boot it and try it without installing it or making any changes to your PC.

The most popular and easiest to use is http://www.ubuntu.com/.

I recommend using this version http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Maverick 10.04 which updates to 10.10.

It's an elegant solution for those who can't afford or won't pay for MS OS. Dual booting covers your butt if anything goes blue (or red) with either OS. But then Linux doesn't have a screen of death. In my experience it only has PEBKAC problems. I solved that by dual booting with a stable version and only allowing stable updates along side the cutting edge version (Oneiric 11.10 soon to be something 12. something) with risky updates that feed my PEBKAC issues.

If you can write Python or C you can do all kinds of magic with Ubuntu Linux.

Edit- one brilliant option is that you can log in to just about any language imaginable. My VN wife logs in to VN. Every menu and most programs are in Vietnamese. Just make sure you know your keyboard if you opt to change that as well. Password PEBKAC.

didnt read the whole thread so not sure if someone said this, it is possible to get an activation patch. just go on to the t's sites and download it. you should just need to run it and it will acivate windows 7. Its called 'windows 7 loader'.

Hey all. I bought this PC from someone and had W7 pre-installed... i am really not tech savvy and would have done this activation thing long ago if i knew how.

As for the suggestions on going to navigate that website and doing the whole activation thing via download of some kinda "patch??!??" i would've done so if it was in my means to do so and not be subjected to some of the embarrassing responses on here...

just call me an idiot and get it over with... as for me feeling bad about not knowing... that's not gonna happen.

The reason i specified in the beginning to PM me was for obvious reasons. The general caliber of people jumping on here may have genuine intentions, but there are some who leave a bad "after-taste" in the mouth.

Download the loader, unzip it (I assume you know what a .zip file is?) and run the program in the resulting folder. I think there is one or maybe two clicks involved in the process. Reboot (the program asks you to) and that's it...you're legit.

Not trying to be condescending here, but really mate....couldn't be simpler.

I just downloaded a reomove WAT programme from a torrents site and the genuine notifiaction thing went away and hasn't came back and that was almost a year ago. Still lets me update fully too.

Simplest option other than geting genuine imo.
