What do you suggest he do? Apply to both GEPIK and EPIK or just avoid GEPIK and apply to only EPIK? |

Unless I'm missing some sort of explicit statement, no, I cannot find it. In your original post you imply that GEPIK is useless as it's funding has been cut. But you then follow it by saying that any of its locations will be closer to Seoul relative to EPIK assignments. Keeping in mind that his location is one of the most important aspects to him, I don't know what you are suggesting? |

| Yeah, I honestly do not recommend applying to just GEPIK. I was really lucky with my school because they were specifically looking for a Korean-American. According to several recruiters I spoke with, most GEPIK schools prefer Caucasian teachers with experience. I ordered double documents, but it wasn't that expensive. Plus, it's always the safer choice to have backup docs. |
