Camera:
-purchased in 2007, was the flagship at the time (aka Pentax K10D)
-fully compatible with Pentax lenses, etc with even more fantastic Samsung service
-in-body anti-shake.. makes ALL lenses are lighter, smaller, less expensive and STABILIZED, even ancient and 3rd party lenses that don't have it (ie. Tamron 28-75/2.8, 70-200/2.Cool.. also not aware of any stabilized prime lenses below 85 or 100mm from C/N..
-battery grip for extended shooting time, extra controls for easier vertical/portraits and extra memory card and pentax remote storage (I charge the batteries every month or two)
-some scratches on the body/grip and rear LCD (not noticable/visible when it's dark) Sad
-all the cables and stuff it originally came with: tv out cable, usb, manual, cd, samsung strap etc
-8GB high speed memory card + 2 batteries

4 Lenses with hoods, 3 MC(multicoated) UV filters, 6 pinch caps:
-18-55mm, 50-200mm, FA35/2 (samsung branded) and Pentax FA50/1.4
(the FA35 and FA50 include step up rings so the lens caps are interchangable! yay!)

Why buy a low end PLASTIC DSLR with only *1* lens? No sales person will tell you that lenses are more important than a body and there isn't a world of difference between a new and older camera body in full daylight or with flash/studio. My 4 lenses will have you covered for almost every situation (with and without flash). 2 great zoom lenses (with metal mounts, not breakable plastic like the C&N competition!) and 2 fantastic Pentax primes.

My kit was heavily used, yet loved. Spent a lot of time scoping out used/new prices on many sites like ebay, amazon and bhphoto and putting together some sample pics over the years (after losing many from a backup drive that died). All for 1,100,000 won? What's reasonable to you?

If you're starting, or want to get serious about photography, you'd probably end up with a similar kit. Lens journey ends with 4 more lenses? (wide angle, f/2.8 zooms and a real macro lens)

Thanks for looking! Very Happy

No Pentax users? Price too high?

Let's try again, price dropped and itemized if you don't need the whole lot..

1. GX10 body + battery grip + 2 batteries + 18-55mm lens + 8GB memory card - 250,000
2. 50-200mm lens - 120,000
3. 35mm f/2 lens - 280,000
4. 50mm f/1.4 lens - 200,000

Buy the whole lot for 800,000 and I'll include a [bussup] camera bag for you to lug it all away since it's a bit difficult to repack everything into their original boxes (you'll unbox them anyway, right?) Smile

Updated sample pics: http://s1139.photobucket.com/albums/n559/lovemygx10/

My passport is expiring in a few months and I need to leave the country to renew it (my driver's license has already expired). I'd like a little more dough to buy stuff that I can't get in Korea. Smile If you have a Samsung NC10 netbook in good condition, I'm willing to consider that as I don't have a net-/notebook.. US/Canada and Korean models are fine..

This looks like a cracking deal... im going to have to do some research though as my digital SLR knowledge is not brilliant.

Where are you based, if i want to inspect the goods?

Cheers

I'm located in Incheon. Going any lower, I'm better off holding onto everything and continue buying lenses (wide angle 12-24 would be next, I WANT wide).

Pentax has a very unique, loyal following and sane lens prices. Putting the anti-shake ability in the camera body makes their lenses even more appealing. To this day, they have a number of fantastic and unique lenses that the "top 2" can't even touch, namely the Pentax "limited" lenses. People have physically modified/neutered them to work with other brands.

I hope you enjoyed the sample pics. At a different angle (no pun intended), there is also the Pentax Photo Gallery: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/ Big difference is that those pics weren't taken with me and not all my style. Nice thing is you can filter down to the same camera (K10D) and lenses pics are taken with.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
