My girlfriend and I have been wait-listed or EPIK's march intake. We decided to separate our applications on the advice of our recruiter, but my GF has changed her mine and does not wish to be in the running for a position as a solo applicant. Our recruiter says we can't go back to joint applicants (although we know that means we go from little change of a job to none). She is worried that if she gets offered a position and turns it down she will be unable to get a future EPIK position, but can't she just drop out now with no consequences?
Also I know EPIK does not return documents, but can they be used for the next term? Seems like such a waste to have them just thrown away.
Last question will we have to interview again if we decide to go to EPIK for the spring intake?
I'm thinking of just getting a couples position at a Hagwon, but I have my reservations about those since I don't have any contacts in Korea. |

1. EPIK has plenty of candidates, they'll just pick another.
2. She'll have to get another set of documents.
3. Aren't you wait-listed for spring intake already? If you mean by next year, yes you'll have to interview again.
As for consequences: even if EPIK blackballs you, it isn't much of a loss. |
