Most Canadians I know always moan when we hear of ppl getting a slap on the wrist by the courts...
but could it be that the Canadian courts are actually getting things right nowadays??
I'm shocked to see two in a row:
Dustin Paxton guilty of aggravated and sexual assault
A nasty case of torture and abuse. If anyone saw the initial pics released of him at the hospital, yo'll be cheering a conviction.
Shafia jury finds all guilty of 1st-degree murder
Honour killings of 4 girls  |

| I am not Canadian but I followed the honor killing trial in the national Post. Yeah they deserved the max. |
