Hi everyone, I will be sounding completely stupid because I'm not really sure how to wire money home. I recently switched to KEB bank and set up an Easy One account. This means I can send money home without going to see a teller. I can just use the ATM, however, I'm not sure how to do it. I set up the account with my desired overseas bank account but I'm unsure how to send money. I was given a check card with a bank book and another bank book for the easy one account.
Am I supposed to send money to the easy one account via money regular savings account ? haha I'm really lost and any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Yep, it really is that easy. You just take your One-Touch bankbook to your regular bank, pick the transfer option at the ATM, enter the account number from the book, and hit confirm. The money will go to the One-Touch account and be immediately wired to the bank of your choice in your home country.
Better to save up for a few months than to send smaller amounts more often, considering the FX issue. |
