Basically my situation is I'm not available to start teaching in Korea until mid June. For EPIK and SMOE i wouldn't be able to start work until sept 1st, but after a skype chat with a recruiter today I found out that IMOE in inchion recruits monthly.
I'm looking to live somewhere with a good young foreigner community, good places to go out etc. I've hears living in Incheon is a bit hit or miss depending on where you are placed. Is it worthwhile holding out for a few extra months to get work with EPIK or SMOE in Seoul or Busan?
What would your first choice be out of these cities? |

From the list Incheon, but I don't think you are considering the best options. Gyeonggido surrounds Seoul. I prefer living outside major cities, it's too congested in bigger cities in my opinion. One hour from the center of Seoul would be my choice.
The only reason why I wouldn't live in Busan is that I prefer colder weather. You'll have to decide on your own if Busan is more of a fit for you. In Korea, it doesn't really matter. It is such a small country, you can move if you don't like where you are easily. |
