Hello everyone,
I am married and I am planning on moving to South Korea to teach in the public school system. What kind out options do I have as far as housing goes? I worked in South Korea before and I had a very small apartment that absolutely would not be large enough for two people. Will schools provide larger accommodations for married couples if only one person is working? If not, what options do I have for making other arrangements? It says on the "sample contract" that one can receive a housing allowance of 400,000 won a month. How does this work exactly? Is it hard to get your own apartment? Also, what kind of costs are involved in fixing your own apartment? Thank you for your advice.
