I wolfed down one of those triangular kimbaby things once and it didn't go down all the way (no mom jokes please). It was really distressing. What happens if you can't get to water?

Well, you lived to tell about it, so ask yourself. That is, unless your mom rushed you a gwass of wa-wa.

Otherwise, it would seem that one endures, then posts about it on the net.

what kind of post/question is this. How bored are you?

If you choke you either dislodge it and tell people about it (im assuming thats what happened)

if you cant then you choke and die

Seriously, try it yourself and you'll know what I'm talking about. The rice goes down and stops in your tube, just above the stomach.

Try this as an experiment.

1. Get a friend.
2. Walk up mountain with friend (make sure friend has no water).
3. Challenge friend to eat a ball of rice (triangular gimbap) in less than 10 seconds.
4. Laugh at friend.

5. Get new friend.

That sounds like solid advice.

But I do worry now (to the point of losing sleep and wanting to keep checking my door is locked even though I know it is) - what would one then swallow which would gobble up the Korean?

A) It goes down to your stomach
B) It comes back up to your mouth
C) Choke on a ball of rice.

A. Eventually, but it feels like you're dying before that happens.
B. Possibly, but it doesn't stimulate your gag reflex, not in the position I'm talking about.
C. It's not that type of tube, it's your food tube not your air tube.

Can somebody please do it?

Ah I did that once when I was in middle school and had skipped lunch and got home and started gobbling down leftover Chinese food like an animal. I know your pain. I was in (what I though was) agony for a long time. It taught me to take much smaller bites and chew a lot more.

This seriously made me laugh.

Made me think of a fishbone I got caught in my throat in Beijing. Didn't know rice was an easy solution.
