Great idea - had not even thought about waiting until next contract.

That's brilliant. What is a D10 though?

Bridge visa (looking for work).
E2 to E2 if you have a new job lined up.
or E2 to D10 to E2 if you don't.

Thanks sooo much for all the info. My husband also looked a bit into the D10 visa transfer. I just really like the idea of not being 'under' this guy while we use the law to get what's contractually and legally ours.

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this question, and I honestly haven't looked in the other threads yet, so it may have been asked, but now they want him to sign a new contract. Can they force him to do this? Can he say no? And I suppose that this is another way that they could fire him for no reason? Rolling Eyes

Just say no. If they are going to can you they will anyway.

Don't give them the paper to do it with.
