Oh, wow! That site has definitely stepped it up from when I was there. At that time, they were just basically a delivery service buying Costco items and charging quite a bit more. Good for them. |

Costco turkey burgers? Are they carrying those again? |
Evidently, because I picked one up a couple of weeks ago. |

Just had a MAJOR SCORE
Just went to the Russian supermarket opposite Busan Station
Got a HALF GALLON jar of dill pickles (not sweet, hate those and extra crisp) for 5k!!!
Also got an authentic salami, wax wrapped for 10k. The thing is massive - 500 grammes!!! Trust me, their food is real, not like that rip off Austrian guy in Itaewon, where all his sausages are half rusk / filler. Man at his place I'd be lucky to get 100g for that price.
Also got a 350g block of mozzarella for 5k!!! That store is frickking amazing.
They had some good cans of salmon for 4.5k and Russian caviar (the cheap stuff obviously, but it's great with crackers) for 4k, but you need a can opener for em and I don't have one.
200g tub of cottage cheese too (fresh made on the premises) for 4k, might get that next week..
Got some tomatoes, crackers and bananas too.
Will be enjoyng a salami and mozarella salad with some UFC tonight! Beer and Dunhills for desert! |

I live in this area and don't know where the "Russian Market" is!!! Can you give me some idea? Closer to Texas Street or on the busy street?
Thanks |

On the Main st in the China Town (believe it's calld Texas St.) If you were on that street, with Busan stn on your left side, walk straight down the street almost to the end and it's on your right.
They have some damned good stuff there and it is all reasonably priced. I snagged the last salami btw, just in case you were hoping to get one today. Last week they had smoked Polish sausages, simmilar to kabanos!
Though it does vary from week to week, last week they had neither of the cheeses I like nor the salamis or spiced hams I like, yet they did two weeks before. So you have to keep trying.
Good canned and pickled foods, as well as jars of drip coffee. SOme Indian canned meals also, stuff like that.
The pickles are KOSHER DILL PICKLES too. Much tastier than your standard dill / gherkin. |

Ah man, these 'half sour' Kosher dill pickles blow me away. Have been snacking on them at work.
The vinegar is amazing and they used a lot of garlic in it and it reall stay with the pickle as you munch it.
Beats the best not sweet ones from costco hands down and like 5 times the size.
Lol in Itaewon everything I bought today would be marked up 5x.
No gentrification project in Busan |

Well ... Seems they're taking imports to the next level over there.

Also, I remember stumbling across a nice variety of foreign products, especially detergents and fabric softeners, over at E-Mart for Traders. |

If you are you in Seoul, and have a stack of won burning a hole in your pocket - Haddon House is the best. Walk into the produce aisle and they have limes, snow peas, fresh artichokes, brussels sprouts, Granny Smith apples, fresh fennel, and some other things you don't see anywhere else in Korea. They try pretty hard, most of those things aren't even on the menus of the best restaurants in Korea.
Their dry goods are pretty good as well, and they have frozen phyllo pastry and pretty nicely sized roasting chickens (maybe double the size of the average Korean whole chicken) for 7500W or so. |

| Thanks, lawyertood, but I need a bit more detail. If anyone else knows how to find the place from the station, I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance! |

| I'm ashamed to say that I'm horrible with maps, but I'll give it a whirl. If all else fails, I'll have my husband do it for me. |

| International Mart in Itaewon had fennel today, a few bulbs - at 7500W, sad to say, much cheaper than Haddon House. Like I said, bring some won if you're going to Haddon - like 3 or 400,000W, that is. |
