North Korea is a perfect example of why citizens need arms.

Here's something interesting. A British man decides to bring a chain saw back to the pub he was given a hard time for lighting up a smoke (fag in England, hehe). Now, in America the land of the free and the home of the brave, he would've been shot on sight by police for terrorizing all those people with 'deadly force'.

Deadly force can be interpreted a number of ways; depending on the state of course... a good criminal defense lawyer can help us there.

Here's another interesting development. A criminal defense lawyer in Scottsdale, Arizona was arrested and is waiting trial for shooting a man he claims, in self defense. The man had followed him for a few miles on the interstate and the two had pulled over. The shooter was still in his car when he shot the man walking to his car. Was it deadly force? Apparently the charges have been dropped.

Just my two cents on this issue. As a gun lover, I feel that freedom of expression and knowledge is much more important in the fight against tyranny than arms. Insurgencies and guerrilla warfare depend on too many variables.

It absolutely is, which is one of many reasons not to restrict freedom of speech or of the press. Though the pen is mightier, one should keep a sword handy in case the pen fails.
As we see in Syria, when the people with guns are willing to shoot the people without guns, the latter are left only with the hope that other people with guns will show up.
