That was great! I wish it explained how they tracked him down. |

Well the guy looked like he had no regret/remorse about what he wrote. What can you do then?
Unless he broke actual laws, he can continue his online pollution. It seems to come with social media and discussion boards anyway.
Sad part is most of us seem to become so used to trolls that we hardly take notice even when they post the vilest of crap like this guy did. |

Who cares about trolls. Way too many people take this internet thing way too seriously. Dumb racist people exist in this world? Wow, who knew. The ones who should have their heads examined are the ones who post really personal things online. |

I watched that programme too and there was an interview with Cher Lloyd on it about her being trolled online. She was pretty upset about it and I was fairly sympathetic until I realised she was just talking about people leaving messages on Facebook. And then I thought well why doesn't she just not go on facebook any more. And then I realised that for some people that would be a major change in their lives, but probably one for the better. In the same way not going on Dave's any more would be to me |

Rich people should find these trolls and beat them up, ala Jay and Silent Bob. |

I can tell by just watching this vid clip that this guy has an anger management problem.
He probably has lots of anger inside, probably from his abusive childhood.
I wonder if potential series killers just alternatively turn series trolls to get rid of their anger.
If it's true, we should definitely just let them stay trolling. |

What an annoying interviewer. That's not how you approach someone if you actually want some answers. |

I laughed when I saw who was one of the first people to post a comment in this thread. I get the feeling he clicked on the title because deep down inside he feared someone might have revealed his identity (you know who you are). |

Was "one of the first"... or just..."the first"?
I'd need to start reading this site more in order to keep my trolls straight...yet, somehow my lack of caring doesn't outright curb my curiosity. |

Maybe we can use this example as a learning experience to tell the difference between a "troll" (who might use racial epithets against deceased private citizens) and people who simply disagree with you. |
