how does this work? if you do it for one part time job because the MOE requests it does that cover you for all your jobs? i mean can you just tell other employers you've already done it so just check with the MOE or are you expected to have one for every job you have now and in the future for the rest of your life?

Good question. Sorry I don't know the answer. I'll just say that I haven't been asked for any CRC yet, although I do hear a lot of chatter about it on here. If you really need to provide a new CRC for each and every part-time and/or temporary job, then suddenly those jobs are going to become a lot less attractive.

No-one knows for sure since the MOE has not exactly been clear in their intentions and policies regarding the implementation of the new requirements.

IF your other jobs are NOT as a teacher then no worry. It is not a requirement.

If they are teaching then there is no definitive answer.

It would seem that getting a CRC would be advisable and, one would think, if you haven't left the country since the CRC was issued, one wouldn't need one each time they get a new job. Furthermore, one would think that after an extended period of residing in Korea, after having gotten a clean CRC from one's home country, a local (Korean) CRC would be sufficient. Not many people take a two-week trip home to commit felonies, one would think.

Of course, common sense isn't always the local forte.
