Thanks for all the info. I just have one last question. Does anyone know of gyms in Masan? Having been in Korea before, I know sometimes gyms can be well hidden inside a building on the 8th floor for example. Classes of any kind(pilates, Yoga, Kickboxing...) would be good to know about as well.

Best thing to do is ask your coteachers what is available in your neighbourhood. I know there are gyms all over, in Dekkori (the university area), up in Samgye, pretty much all over. And there's yoga as well. There's a hot yoga studio across from the Shinsegae.

Thanks Yellowdove. We won't have any co-teachers as our school is quite small but I will ask the couple we are replacing. Hot Yoga would be awesome- took a couple bikram yoga classes years back and enjoyed it.
