| The whole Jeremy Lin thing will die down once the public realize that it was a scheme orchestrated by sportswriters and the front office to get the Chinese interested in the NBA again. His contract is over this year and the Knicks will ship him off at higher value, the same thing they did with David Lee a couple years ago and look at him now. |
Do you really believe this? If so, I've got some cracking crop circles I'd like you to see.
First of all, I'm not sure how "sports writers and the front office" can make a player, Chinese or otherwise, produce the kind of performances we have seen from Lin over the past couple of weeks. He may or may not be able to maintain these standards but the fact remains that he's been simply fantastic. Second, regarding David Lee, what do you mean by "look at him now"? For your own weird purposes, you make it sound like his career is over, when he is in reality continuing to put up nearly 20 and 10 a game and is definitely one of the most consistent and useful power forwards in the game.
In short, you don't appear to know what you're talking about.

Hadn't watched The Office (US) for a while and recently downloaded eps 11 - 15.
Realised that whilst some friends think it has gone downhill since Michael left, I don't really miss him at all (even though I think he was a great character) and still ike the show as much as I used too. James Spader is a lot more subtle, but still a good addition to the show. |
Guess I need to try the Office again. I checked out the recent episodes after my discharge and they were horrible. I used to love the show. I personally think they should can the Office and bring back Community. |

World leaders have no personality these days.
Bush, Yeltsin, Hussein, Gaddafi, Castro (almost dead), KJI, Thatcher, Reagan, Clinton, the Ayatollah.
Who do we have now? Merkel, Obama, Cameron, Sarkozy, Assad, Kim Jung Eun, etc. Lame. |

Is community a show? I needs a new show for the evenings soon as am almost out of pawn stars and the office.
Tell me more, tell me more. Ah ha, um ah ha, um ah ha hey ey...
Sometimes I feel like steelrails. Bring back pistols at dawn and stuff like that. But I am perpetually torn as I have been a major benefactor from state interferance in people's lives, so hard to overlook that which has been done for me in order to help my development etc. |

Watch Community now. Its on the same network as the office and 30 rock but it beats both shows. I'd say it's the best sitcom on network TV right now. Its even better than my other two favorite sitcoms, It's Always Sunny and The League. |

Just downloaded season one. About to watch the first ep before bed.
Just watched an episode of one of my favorite shows 'Nothern Exposure.' Am halfway into S3.
Man do I love that Maggie O'Connel, even though she is a major pita for poor old Joel (no spoilers please.)
Got to wondering. It's a great show with some decent acting. How come nobody in the cast never made if big? |
