Yeah, that's really sad for this individual to think that like. What groups does she write for? |

Jenny Hyun, the co-songwriter behind Girls' Generation's "How Great is Your Love" and Chocolat's "One More Day" recently sparked controversy with a slew of racist tweets. |
It's rare to find someone so incredibly racist AND incredibly stupid. On the bright side, maybe this will help some ill-informed groups to understand how the world at large responds to racism. |

It's now being reported that she has been checked into a hospital for schizophrenia. |

From her blog:
"In 2011, the song Watching Over Me (which was on my independently released album entitled Jaley in 2003) was placed on the album of a top Asian girl group, Girls Generation, under the title Mistake. Also in 2011 I have placed a song I co-wrote with Jean T. Na and SooYoung from Girls Generation entitled Spring Day (How Great Is Your Love) on Girls Generations album The Boys. Later that year, I co-wrote a song on the debut album of ChoColat called 하루만 더 (Same Thing To Her).
She also suffers from severe bouts of mental illness, so her rants should be taken with a grain of salt. If you look through her blog, she often criticizes racial stereotyping of blacks. Her family reports that she is currently hospitalized. |

No wonder the lyrics in Girls Generation songs seem so shallow and repetitive--look where they got them. Figures.
How great exactly is her love? Silly woman~~ |

Found much on the LGTB community from her blog, but didn't find much related to her criticizing racial stereotyping of blacks. Is there a different blog of which I'm not privy? |

Hyun responded that Floyd was a "subhuman, ungrateful APE," and then started spreading vitriol about the black community in general. She insinuated that Whitney Houston's recent passing wasn't such a loss because of "all that baggage" she came with, and referred to African-Americans as "disgusting, violent, arrogant, and stupid." Then, in an even more frightening twist, she repeatedly called for the eradication of the entire black race: |
Quote: |
◦"Eradication of one toxic family is exactly what this world needs."
◦"Think about all the money we would save not having to give their never ending charities, replacing a black worker with any other race."
◦"We don't know what it's like with them not here. But imagine a world with NO BLACK PEOPLE. All the tension in every aspect of life would be drastically improved without them around. And ONLY them." |
Imagine there's no black people, it's easy if you try.. Kinda like a racist Lennon almost... |

He asked about her criticizing racial stereotyping of blacks, not her criticizing blacks. The racist stuff was pretty easy to spot. |

Someone must have been watching her already because the clean-up crew were clearing away the evidence shortly after bloggers had dutifully taken screen-shots of all she had written. I guess that adds credibility to the claim that she suffers from crippling psychological problems...and here I thought that, like the "I was drunk" defense, it was just a crass attempt to exploit an angle.
Some of most offensive quotes have already been taken off most sites such her ironically named "Jenny Uncensored", Twitter, and Facebook accounts. No worries, they got most of them here:
http://www.mb.com.ph/articles/351955/usbased-koreanamerican-songwriter-scored-racist-tweets
Here's some of the choicer quotes that have already been swept under the rug:
Someone DMd me asking why my sudden open dislike/hatred towards blacks. Youre getting all wrong if you think I hate black people. My conclusion is unbiased. Its like deciding to amputate a limb from gangrene. It has to be done. The patient will feel better afterwards. Eradication of one toxic family is exactly what this world needs, Hyun wrote. [that's her advocating genocide]
You know what will help Asians earn respect? An Asian version of Adolf Hitler played by me!
I bet you she has already flown back to Korea, applied to have her citizenship reinstated or granted and is living it up in Gangnam like it never happened. |

Talk about death wish obsession syndrome.
If anyone wanted to to go out in a hideously violent manner, all they gotta do is tweet like this chick.
All I can conjecture is that earlier in her career when she was all gaga about r'n'b she maybe hung out with some black dudes who took advantage of her...otherwise, I just don't get how she could go that far with it, even taking onto account that she may be schizo, because that condition would only aggravate a a point of view she already had for some reason...she better hightail it outta the states, and like hide out in Greenland or something |

Doubtful. I think she is disturbed, but paranoid schizophrenic? She already has sympathy just for dropping "mental illness". She underestimated the backlash for saying bigoted things, and was in fear- that's a likely reason of why she posted dumb things like "I love KFC", Wiz Khalifa & Snoop videos to her blog. A coward in the truest sense.

This. And Koreans will welcome her back with open arms.
Side note:
When the whole ruckus about the idiots at the gas station came about K-media reported it like riots and boycotts were happening all over America. What Jenny Hyun did was more damaging to the reputation of Kpop (especially after GG played Letterman) yet we will never hear a peep unless she screws up again |

Her tweets should be the lyrics for a new K-pop song.

She could just be unstable and an idiot. I knew a Korean American girl who refused to touch things (just objects in general) in public because black people might have touched them. From what I know she had a pretty safe and sheltered existence and lived in an area full of Korean Americans. |
