Long story short the same happened to me in December. It didn't matter what the customer service rep said, I missed a section when ordering that said I'd have to pay any additional fees.
Paid it, got upset, got over it. Won't make the same mistake again. |

I do not read Korean, and the item was listed on the English side of gmarket.
In the korean image there is something about 5,500 won that I didn't notice before. It seems like when they called me and told me to give them 55,000 won they might have meant 5,500.
If they would have told me that up front, I could have included it in the fee deducted from gmarket. Instead they waited several weeks until I called and asked where is this at.
It was a whole week later they told me I needed to pay 55,000 won to a private account.
I needed this for a gift more than a month ago when they said it was in stock and would only take a couple of days. I do not have anything to do with it now.
The account number they gave me doesn't exist, so I can't send the money. They won't answer their phone anymore and gmarket just told me to wait until it arrives and everything will be fine if I just wait.
I haven't got the money they deducted, the company won't deliver, the private bank account doesn't exist and the seller doesn't answer their phone...

If it's 5,500 I'd pay that and get a product I could return even if shipping was deducted. Even if though they totally lied about it arriving in two or three days.
They won't answer the phone when I call, the bank number they gave me doesn't exist and gmarket just says wait and everything will work out when it's delivered.
Everything is at a standstill, nothing is happening. I just want something to happen at this point.
And now I know what a global seller is, (we will order it from amazon for you) I will never make that mistake again. I prefer honest Korean companies that maintain the stocks they claim. |
