I have been living in Gangnam for two years with my wife, holding down a great uni job and also doing business english etc classes. We are just about to sign another 2 year jonsei contract but after that our plan is to escape to jeju for a few years.

My only concern is that I have no idea about the work availability situation on Jeju. In gangnam if -for example- i feel like doing a business english class weekdays at 8am or 6-8pm tuesdays and thursdays i can pick one up in a matter of days, there are plenty of 50k+ per hour jobs all over the place. Im 31 and though no kids yet this is the time when i need to be earning a decent wage and saving hard. How is the part-time, freelancer etc job market on Jeju? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I'll take that as a no then.

Oh well, guess I'll try and find some under-staffed 호빠 to help me pay the bills.
