Just thought I'd post to see if anybody knows of anywhere where one can store excess personal belongings relatively cheaply in Korea? Just moved to a new house in a new city which is a little bit smaller than my last abode and I dont have enough space to put everything in my new apartment. Dont want to throw it out or sell it. Asked my landlord but theres no place to store anything in the building where I live. Cant store anything at my school and I'm too far away from friends who may be able to keep it for me. Any possible suggestions? |

There's a self-storage facility near Costco in Yangjae. The name escapes me, however, and I have no idea of the cost.
I've had the same problem on several occasions, though, and in the end I always ended up leaving the stuff with friends. |

I've had the same problem, but there are really no inexpensive options, according to my Korean network. I ended up with towers of boxes on the balcony that I had to move every time I wanted to check the gas meter. |

Care to elaborate?? Prices, location etc?? If I could store my 3 or 4 boxes of stuff for under W50,000 I would take it. Guess space is at a premium in a country such as Korea....lol. |

Thanks man. They've always been a personal favourite. Surprised someone else recognised 'em. Not a hell of a lot of people even know who they are!....lol |

Yeah, it is weird that they aren't more popular. Practically every current rock band that is worth listening to are fans of MC5 (or at least the ones I think are worth listening to). |

I think it was about 100,000 a month, but we had about 6 boxes, a television, and a table. It's right by the costco and e-mart in Yangjae. It's kind of hidden behind e-mart and was slightly tricky to find.
The guy that works there speaks decent Enlish. I think his name was Eric.

Well, I guess they were one of the most, if not THE most important influence on the '77 punk explosion back in the day. Certainly during the time they themselves were active in the late 60s, certain very high level people in various US govt law enforcement agencies went out of their way to ensure the MC5 would NEVER become popular. |
