|
|
I am six months into a contract and I got a pamflet for my medical insurance months ago so I assumed my pension is being paid. My job also asked me if they could stop paying pension if they gave me a raise so again assuming they are paying it.
Recently read a lot of people getting screwed so I want to check if its being paid. Could someone give me a simple way to check if it is being paid. I do not speak korean and would like to take care of this myself if at all possible.
Thanks for the help |

i went for the first time a few weeks ago and there was a clerk solely dedicated to foreigners. just handed over the arc and that was it.
alternatively...
check out the pension website and join it. once you log in, you can check your balance. |

You can just call the pension office. Just have your ARC ready so you can give them the number and they'll check it. Once you get the pamphlet, you can be sure they are paying pension because the two are tied together.
If you stop pension, you'll lose insurance too. Watch out for that bus! Not sure why your boss wanted to do that and give you more money instead? What's the catch? Another example...hahaha...of a honest hagwon. |

I didn't see the link where to sign up. I always end up calling, but I'd much rather just go online to check it every month. I work for a hagwon, and my boss pays it, but often forgets and I have to remind her to pay 2 or 3 months of pension and health insurance. She pays it, but I have to keep on top of it. |

ok so i cant find anywhere on the website to confirm my coverage. I found this page which says
"On this page, you may request confirmation of your pension coverage. Please take care to enter your information correctly, as your pension rights cannot be guaranteed without accurate information. (Information Protection Notice: Your personal data will never be released to any third party without your express consent.)"
but then there is no place to put in my information. Am I missing something or is this website that bad?
