I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but a friend showed this to me today, and I was disgusted. If anyone could translate exactly what they were singing, I'd appreciate it.

Not sure what they are saying but apparently they are acting as if they are the charachter from the dooli animation. You know that cute little green dinosaur that kids have stickers of? He is from that show!?!?!

What are you going to do exactly? Write MBC a complaint letter so they can promptly toss it in the bin?

Yeah but he's not Korean. Apparently it's only a bad thing when Koreans do it.

Can't remember if this vid aired on Sunday or on another day. I saw it when I talked to my mom, we both had a laugh.

I didn't watch the Oscars. If he did, that's disgusting.

He didn't. Just because schwa and UrbanMyth are so out of touch with reality that they think it would be possible for blackface to be done at the Oscars, doesn't mean you should too. In a lame skit Crystal was costumed as Sammy Davis Jr; the costume included make-up to match his complexion to that of Davis. As I hope you are aware, that is not the same thing as "blackface". Blackface is grotesque over-the-top caricature, not just any case in which non-blacks are cosmetically made to look black. Criticise the Oscars for dullness, not racism.

When white people do blackface it's post modern-ironic okay. Usually they're making fun of themselves, their audience or the tv network or making some other statement through the performance.

You have to understand the context and the meta act behind the localised act.

I refer you to my post above. Blackface does not simply mean the application of cosmetics to appear naturally "black". Stop using the term incorrectly.
