Why do new jobs ask for E2 only? I've checked the advertisements and see many of these new jobs asking specifically for E2 (not mentioning F class visas). Is this a sign to run? Does this mean they want to exploit you? Maybe just co-incidence?

An F visa teacher with a korean spouse is trouble, they can quit at any time and find a new job. An E-2 visa, who is 22 years old and has no clue what is going on in this world is most desired, so easy to manipulate them.

Sometimes the school doesn't even know about F visas and sometime it can mean people of a non-Asian appearance.

Finally some hagwons have some scruples and don' want to leave a guy with a family waiting for their pay....................................................................... because F visas can say goodbye with no consequences.

1. Hagwons cant control F visa employees.
2. Some F Visa holders arent native speakers, but just try to pass themselves off as one.

With the MOE requiring a lot of the same docs that immi used to require (apostilled CBC's and Degrees etc), it is no longer that much more convenient to hire F's. Not to mention the sense of entitlement many F's have (that based solely on their visa, they should get X amount more a month).

In many cases, the pro's don't outweigh the cons.
