Can anyone tell me what is the best (i.e cheapest and reliable)bank or company to use to get part of one's teachers salary sent back to New Zealand on a monthly basis?
I was told Lloyds were good. I dont know if they meant "lloyds of London" or lloyds TSB. The latter require you to open an account with a current income showing of min GBP 25000 and they charge 25 pence per GBP100 money transferred. Any advances on this? or is there another company called Lloyds (I've been out of the UK for a while)that does it cheaper? |

Honestly, I've found that any bank is fine, and that most have someone who speaks English. Most banks charge a standard fee and there's no appreciable difference between them. |

Thanks Zerogold. SO I will just pop in to one of the local banks when I get there. |
