|
|
The problem:
On programs installed on my school computer, even with English language options selected during setup I sometimes get menu and sub-menu names in Hangul and not in English. I also use some portable apps on my usb and find that the menus switch (sometimes) over to Hangul.
With some programs that I use almost subconsciously, it's a minor hassle but with programs I use less often I'm back to hunting and pecking even though the program was installed w/ English language options.
I'm assuming the program is relying on system fonts for the menus. Is there a way to re-direct programs so they use English instead of Hangul.

control panel > region & lang settings > administrative tab
then "change system locale" for "language for non-unicode programs"
try that, MIGHT work,
it's what I ignorantly play with when I'm having language issues
edit: that's for win7, it's somewhere similar for xp |
