Hi. I will be in Seoul in few weeks and I am looking for advice. I want to check some high-end cameras: Nikon D800 and Canon 5DMkIII. As I live in smaller city, there is no store, where I can "play" with dSLR. So my question is: is there any store in Seoul, where one can check the camera out, take some pictures, check all the settings and so on. Sorry, if this is wrong forum, but I figured there are some of you leaving in Seoul and know exactly what I am looking for. Thank you for any pointers.

I'm not is Seoul, so I can't help you. I would be interested to know what kind of prices you find on the 5D Mark iii though. Is it out here? I heard it's not available in North America until March 22.

Maybe try posting this in the General Discussion Forum?

There are several places you can come: Yongsan, Technomart, and Namdaemun market.
I don't like Yongsan and Technomart since they name the price higher than it worth, and you need to negotiate. And be careful with dust inside lenses.

I prefer Namdaemun, there is a link shows the way to a shop in Namdaemun.

You can find other shops on that street too.

Good luck.

Thank you all for help. Now, all those places, can you get camera in your hands, take some shots with it, see how it feels? Also, does any of them do trade in?

I have traded in tons of gear at that store (I am on my 4th camera from them - all trade-ins) and they've always given the best price.

Definitely go for Namdaemun!

I've been doing business with Yesdica. He speaks good English and loves throwing in freebies and energy drinks. =)
