Sounds about right for an Afterschool gig. You will probably have to come in at 11am though. It says teachers hours start at 1, but usually there are office hours before that. People I know jsut come in, plan their lesson for an hour. Eat lunch, and then start their teaching. |

I don't see what is so good about that offer. No housing is provided (especially the part about no key money). Usually, you get 10-20 vacation days. I don't see anything about airfare mentioned. Salary of only 2.1? I would except 2.2-2.3 to start with. I got 2.4 with a similar afterschool position.
The part about coming in at 11 is usually just the first month or so. After that, if you come to the school prepared, you can come at 12:30. However, they might make you sign in with the vice principal. If so, make sure you and your co-teacher sign in together at the same time. Don't let them use this against you by saying you came late after a month or so.
If they are urgently looking for a teacher, they better offer housing at least and bump the salary up 100,000 at least. |

2.6 with no benefits. (5-6 elementary classes per day)
2.1 with benefits (6 classes per day):
airfare - 200k
housing - 500k (and no key money issues)
10 days off
IF you have a reputable employer then add:
medical
pension (their 4.5% of your salary = 1.35 million per year - 100k per month)
proper taxation (about 1.7% of salary).
I wouldn't even consider it.
