Hello!
I'm a 21 year old U.S Citizen and I'd really like to go and visit Korea for the summer. Since I live on my own, I'd obviously need to do some sort of earning/paid work. I don't want any illegal stuff, I'm just wondering if there are any summer work abroad programs or really anything to give me something to do in the summer in Korea.

You might find a camp job but be aware:
i) As an unregistered non resident (no ARC) you will pay about 30% to the tax man.
ii) They don't usually cover airfare (if they do they don't pay much beyond a simple stipend).
iii) You still need to jump through the same hoops as someone on a 1-year E2. (get a national CBC with apostille and degree copy with apostille).
iv) For other who are NOT American then look at the H1 visa (working holiday). Not an option for Americans since they don't offer it to Koreans (reciprocity).

| Given the sheer amount of planning and paperwork that must be obtained to get a C3 visa, I can't imagine why anyone would actually want to teach summer camp. |
