LED tv?
I highly doubt Samsung or LG make an LED tv (very different from OLED mind you) in that price range. It's really hit or miss with off-brands. They're just slapping their components around a panel someone else made (probably LG or Samsung if it's a Korean brand). This includes the all important back lighting though which would make or break a set like this. Impossible to say without looking at it. Could be a steal, could be junk. |

| Depends on the LED technology used. I don't imagine a 500k won generic brand will be using the good LED tech. |

| No name LEDs online seem to be going for a minimum of 550,000+ and climbing much higher for that size. I would assume Emart has a fair return policy? I'd consider taking the plunge seeing how it's a reputable retailer offering the product and not an online vendor or small outfit in an electronics mall. |

Great price. The specs seem good. They have plenty of service centers.
The only thing that caught my eye was that there weren't any reviews by customers. No reviews for their other products either (32" LED and 42" LED).
That could just be because the listing is new. It would've been nice to see other reviews. Hey, maybe you can be the first one! Buy it and let everyone else know.

| That 40" Samsung is pretty nice. Only 2 HDMI ports though. If you only have 2 HDMI devices then no problem. |
