Indian restaurants. Actually just foreign restaurants in general

Western clothes. I'm going to look for a suit today, but there's no guarantee I'll end up finding something I like

Being a nobody. I want to go about my business without anybody looking twice at me or caring what I'm doing

Queuing in an orderly, polite manner

English manners

Not having to look at old women squatting in the dirt by the side of the road with their legs wide open. It's not lady like, it's unsettling

^ I actually like it here though. There are tons of things I don't miss

You can get both of these here. Big, Western-sized ovens are available at Hi-Mart and elsewhere too I'm sure. At the supermarket in Hyundai Dept Store they bag your groceries and tie the top into a knot for you too. You pay for the service, but it is nice.

Dog runs. Here, I guess people don't think about it, because I see many people walking their dogs without leashes, but back home, there are leash laws (and far fewer dogs hit by cars, I'm assuming of course,) so dog runs are a great place to socialize your dog and let them run free for a while with furry playmates. I'm not talking about dog cafes, but a fenced in area of a park, with grass, trees, a water trough, and room to run. I can't wait until next year, when we return home and my dog has a backyard.

I totally agree with Squire on these points. I wouldn't say I like it so much, more that it has it's moments and it's a hub. It depends what day of the week it is. I find people can be randomly hostile towards me out of nowhere, usually just when I feel comfortable being here..(Zen!)
