My less than stellar GPA (embarassing low because I'm a lazy bastard that took too many advanced courses without the required prerequisites) didn't cause me any problems getting my SMOE job. |
Experience teaching here will matter more. But, it might depend on which grunt was assigned to sift on applications that day. Overall, I'd be tempted to say they really don't matter. If they're low, just do a hogwan for a year and get some good references. Then apply to EPIK, GEPIK, or SMOE. Problem solved. |
