If you don't make the general EPIK/GEPIK intake for the March semester start, would you be able to apply for a job that might be posted in June?
I quite often see Public School jobs being advertised that are not March or September starts and was just wondering about the potential options I have.
Thanks so much in advance. |

I think public schools usually handle hiring through recruiters if they don't use EPIK or GEPIK. If you want to come to Korea and walk into the district offices and try to ask them if they have job openings you might find something. However the easiest thing is to look for a public school position through a non-EPIK GEPIK recruiter and they're are plenty of them on Dave's here. Personally I wouldn't recommend using EPIK or GEPIK to anyone anyway unless you refuse to work anywhere else except Seoul or Gyeongido |

Started mine in late May. I know plenty of people who came pretty much every month except July, January and December. There's quite a lot of non-standard intakes, actually. |

There should be openings all of the time. Teachers come and go constantly. Now, if GEPIK is having "budget problems" there will be fewer openings, but a hardworking recruiter can always find something. |
