I am planning on heading to Korean in the beginning of July and would probably leave in the middle of August. I don't think there would be many short and intensive summer programs available, but I was hoping that I could take Korean classes during my short time in Korea.
Please let me know if any of you have any recommendations. A private teacher that I can meet up with once or twice a week perhaps might be cheaper and definitely much more flexible. I really want a class structure though... |

Sogang University has a free online class. It is ok, especially for free.
Once you get here it will be easy for you to find language exchange opportunities. |

Heh, yeah I use that site quite often to study Korean. It's really good, although it was definitely made back in the old days. |

A good language textbook is Korean Made Easy For Beginners by Seung Eun Oh. It can be a short term program if you work through it quickly
The KBS site has a Korean learning course which provides expressions and dialogues, but doesn't explain the grammar it presents. The book I mentioned breaks down the expressions |
