I believe this is the "fifth season" in Korea.

I remember one day last year, everything looked like it was being seen through a lens filter on a camera. The sky was a weird yellow-green, the lack of sunlight coming through made everything look very gloomy.

It was 1pm but it seemed more like dusk/evening before the sun sets.
