The job market in Gwangju is none too great at the moment. I've been looking for a decent job. In my search, I stumbled across the Reading Town hagwon in Sang-mu, Gwangju, Jeollanam-do. I've had an interview there, seemed alright. Does anybody have any info on this school? Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, here are the basics:
Reading Town is part of a trio of academies owned by a couple in Gwangju (the others are Avalon franchises). They're professional and expect a lot from their teachers, but fulfill their end of the contract. I think it'd be good for first-timers, since the large company employs MANY native speakers between the campuses. You can expect to do something with them 1 or 2 Saturdays per month, which could be work, or public marketing, or their twice-a-year company sports picnic. The only thing you should know before signing is that, because it's a big company, you could be shifted to teach different ages than you originally signed up for. You'll work harder than in some other hogwans, but you'll actually feel like a teacher.
