Anyone know a good restaurant that has half-shell oysters and steamed oysters?
I want the fresh stuff, not the deshelled oysters in the plastic bags. |

Can't speak to their quality, but I know the Rose and Crown in Itaewon had a special over the winter of a dozen raw oysters for around 14,000. I've read that their food is pretty bad, but for that price it might be worth a shot. If they're raw I'm assuming they're on the half-shell, but it is Korea we're talking about, so you never know. |

A lot of grilled shellfish (조개구이) restaurants include oysters in the mix of clams, scallops, and other live mollusks that you grill alive and eat right out of their shells. |

Go to Noryangjin. Buy what you want. Take your purchases to one of the restaurants there (either on the ends of the market or upstairs) where you'll pay for your drinks and sides and etceteras. |
