I'm sure this has been addressed, but I can't find any threads about it. Where (in Korea) do you get a professional-looking resume photo taken? I mean those airbrushed looking ones that Koreans always put on their resumes. Do they cost a lot? |

10k-15k won per set at any photo shop (including e-mart and home-plus).

LOL you're not that ugly, surely!
+ airbrushing is cheating! When they see you in the 'flesh' they'll only be disapointed! |

I agree that they're kind of stupid, and I think I look attractive enough without being airbrushed; I just want to give the companies what they like to see. I assume since every single Korean does this, it is what employers want.
Airbrushing isn't really necessary; I just want something professional. They have photo places at Homeplus/E-mart, then? Will they give you a digital copy you can put on your resume and email? |

yes, if you ask for it.
Free if you bought the passport photo package and have your USB drive or a blank CD.

make your own passport photos for free. you dont have to print it through them, there's an option to download the file.
then just go print the 4x6 somewhere (not sure how much it costs) |

If you go to a normal looking photo shop as TTompatz says it doesn't cost a lot and they do the airbrushing bit for free without asking. They seem to automatically want to take ten years off your face instead of the machines you get back home that seem to go out of their way to make you look as bad as possible. |

I prefer the self-snapped shot taken from an outstretched arm's length away as I proudly pout, open my eyes as wide as possible, and flash the peace sign. But, hey, I've been here a while. |
