I'm looking for a good board game, and I've seen on the net, Word Up, which seems to be quite good. Has anyone used it, or seen it in english stores in korea? Seoul? I can order it online for about $30, but I'd rather purchase it here.

Are you sure that isn't 'Up Words'? It is a variant on Scrabble but you can add tiles between existing words to make new ones. If it is Up Words, you can buy it anywhere that sells games.

Hit English Plus, YoungPoong, and Kyobo Saturday, and none of them had it. English Plus and YoungPoong have both beefed up their game selections recently, though. English Plus has added a new line of ESL games, and YoungPoong has brought in the full line of DK Early Learning games. Might be worth asking both places if they'd consider adding to their stock.

Kim and Johnson's (Kangnam Station exit 5 above Marche) seems to be one of the largest ESL stores I have seen.

I don't think I have seen it in stores her, but I did read about it online and it looks very promising.

Just ordered mine online. There is a supplier in Daegu, if anyone in that area is interested in getting it.

Thanks for the replies, be keen to check out those stores for other games.

Great game! You can use it "as is" if you have smaller classes (it comes with TWO boards, pieces and cards!) or as a general Q&A in larger classes. It has 5 levels, so you can use it in mixed classes. Worth getting! See if your school will foot the bill, unless you want to take it with you.

>. Whoops Wink ... hehe ... NOT "Word Up", but rather a game called "Hear Me Out". Lots of fun.
After last night's round, we're now thinking of playing it once a week !!! Laughing

I live in Daegu and called this # yesterday after seeing this thread. The person who answered said "that guy doesn't live here anymore and I don't know where he is" when I mentioned the game. So you might want to double check before purchasing here. Anywhere else in Daegu that sells the game?

ahh i see. Basically I pasted the info from the website that I've ordered from. See link: http://www.teflgames.com/dist.html
They should update, thanks for that.

I'm near Seoul, so I've ordered it online. If you can wait 10 to 30 days then it might be easier just to order it from Thailand.
