^ That's ridiculously inept. At least the guy was caught, but wow. Don't they have training?? |

How were they able to find the guy's apartment five or six blocks away with him inside sleeping? Thats some Sherlock Holmes type stuff right there. |

My theory is that the Korean police are ball-less these days because of the not so distant past where suspects were routinely tortured and forced to give 'confessions' under duress.
Eventually the pendulum will swing the other way and the police will be like the ones in North America where even a look can end up with you on the ground in hand-cuffs. |

112 Audio (911 Emergency): http://ajosshi.com/?p=902
I transcribed that call and translated it from Korean to English.
For some reason, the versions done by Korean papers are superficial and toned-down. |

Well, we can't be giving people all the information, they may get funny ideas into their head...like the current system don't actually work too good |

The police have quoted the accused as saying he got enraged after he was cheated by a prostitute (it would explain more plausibly how she got in his house to begin with).
Even if he was, still a heinous crime and failure on the part of the police. |

The Keystone cops are beyond useless.
Its gotten so bad that they need to be sent for training to other countries. An apprenticeship, to show them the basics of what to do. |

A failure made worse by the fact that they announce to the world that she was possibly a prostitute. |
