I don't know much about the process, but I currently have a public school job in Busan. My contract ends in August and I've been wondering if I could apply for a job outside of Busan, in particular Seoul. I don't know how to go about it? Any advice would be really helpful.

Start from scratch, a different "scratch". Contact recruiters and they will take you down that journey. It might be harder to get a job at this time, but since you are probably looking for a September position, you might have some good offers in a couple months. Recruiters might be looking for teachers earlier if they are accepting out of country applicants since those people would definitely need new documents.

However, this may not be your best route. What if you take a mediocre offer now and a better one comes next month or even July? Personally, I think you have the advantage of being in Korea and being able to end your contract shortly before September. I would wait 2 months before looking and then see what is available. Even if you wait for August you would be able to see which ASAP jobs are out there. Those are more likely going to favor you and you won't be assigned randomly to a school. If it is a good school, they won't have time to interview candidates.

Thanks, so I'll wait for better positions to open up. When I get accepted into a position though will I need all new documents for the visa. I know I'll need to get a new ARC and register with immigration in Seoul.
