i have been from mokpo to gwangju and suncheon to gwangju quite a few times in a taxi and thos trips cost around 55,000..
was it worth it man?, i mean gwang ju is boring the pants off me at the mo, after a year of soul train/west coast/mad season, if i was in mokpo i wouldnt even bother with gwang ju.

ive kinda had enough of this town i guess, its ok but i think i might go for the bright lights big city of seoul next contract.

In 1998 I took a taxi from Kimpo airport to Jeonju. We agreed on 150 000 for the 3 hour trip. There were no buses running and I had to work the next morning.

I used to travel from Ansan to Itaewon for clubbing on a Saturday night -

when the clubs were closing at 3am - I would catch a taxi back to Ansan for 60,000 - 70,000 won

You were getting robbed. I used to live there too, and from Itaewon was around 35-40,000. 50 on the odd occasion.

55,000 W.
Dongdaemun-gu -- Incheon Airport.
I was running late for a flight and didn't have the time to wait for the airport shuttle.

That is a good deal. The one the right is more my style. What about the chick in the middle?

I'll pound it. Needs a good... Well I can't write that... A mod'll delete it... Lets just say it involves a table.

I used to routinely spend over 20,000 in one night. Sinchon to my girlfriend's house, then to mine.

At least on the first few dates..

A former workmate caught a taxi from Incheon to Daejeon for a whopping 260,000 Won, due to arriving too late for any buses coz the plane arrived late in a snow storm and ~ unbelievably ~ our hakwon director offered to pay half!!! Which shows he's not the turd he tried to be sometimes...
