My contract ended last Thursday, but I have not news about when we will sign the next contract. I even went to do the medical check-up over a week ago. Does anyone know what the Gepik policy is? Do I come to work or stay home till I sign a new contract? I just want to know I will be getting paid for coming. They did ask me to stay another yr btw. Shocked

I thought you were supposed to talk to your school about this 2 months in advance. Why didn't you sign a new contract before you got a new medical check?

Also, why do you need a new medical check to continue the next year?

The school alwlays does everything last minute. It hasnt changed in any school I have been at. I have been doing medical checks every year. Isnt that the immi policy? I signed the intent to renew form a few weeks ago. Today the whole school is gone on a picnic so nothing can be done. Maybe I will hear something tomorrow. I just want to be assured Gepik will be paying me!

When does your ARC expire? If they haven't given you a new contract to sign, then you might want to think about getting a new job before it's too late.
