I am out of the country for now but a friend can show you the bike if interested. All paperwork is ready in Gyeongsan 경산.
I've owned the bike since 2008 and its been good to me.
It's mechanically sound and runs great. I've been all over Korea on it.
That being said, there are some maintenance things worth mentioning:
1. front tire tread is low - can still ride but you'll probably want to replace it this year
2. right handle could use a shim. Still rideable as is.
3. there is no fuel gauge - I went to three shops. They all said it is not repairable on this model.
I wanted to fix these before I left but ran out of time before I left.
Please PM any questions if you are interested or to arrange a time to see it.
Cheers

By the way,
I live in Gyeongsan. It is pretty easy to get to from Daegu by subway/bus or car. I also have a place in Pohang so if someone is interested from there, I could ride it over. |

When you say you have all the papers, can you be specific? For example, do you have the In-gam certification from the local office AND a copy of your arc card with it? |

Hi Nora,
Yes, all the papers needed to register it are there: the certificate of ownership and the transfer of ownership.
Cheers, |

My two cents: Does your friend ride? If you're willing to sell it for 1.5, I'm sure most bike shops would be willing to buy it from you for around that price. Sold my 97 CBR 400 for 2.5mil without any haggling (took less than an hour...) For the little work that needs to be done, 1.5 is a great price. You'll pay easily 2.5 for the same bike on any motorcycle street. Good luck op! |
