The song also mentions the first South Korean president, Syngman Rhee.
EDIT: Just listened to it, and Billy Joel mentions Panmunjom, too.

I don't think Depeche Mode specify in the lyrics but I didn't notice any shots of hagwans or public schools in the video. Or Korea for that matter. |
