Just a quick one,
The korean consulate here in U.K. said they can issue a D10. But as usual have no idea what i do in Korea when i find a job to transfer it to a E2. Has anyone done this recently?
Is it just a case of going to Mokdong with the D10, passport and the schools paper work that wants to hire me? Or do you need a new apostilled CRB and Degree again and a visa run?
Thanks for any advice, its a minefield out there!

Nobody has a clue what your talking about.
Are you in Korea? Why are you talking about the UK Consulate? The procedure for applying for a D10 Visa (through the consulate if you're outside korea) and a change of status to D10 (at immigration if you are inside korea) is completely different.
Do you have an ARC card. You need that to apply for the change of status (if in Korea).
Best is to take your ARC card, go to immigration, and ask them. Should be a simply as paying a fee and waiting a few days.
Then, when you find a job, change your status back to an E2. |
