Considering Kyobo bookstore is supposed to represent literate South Korea, IMHO Kyobo fails the test of representing literacy and information on non-fiction, particularly on subject material related to European history. I was underwhelmed by the very small book shelf demonstrating material available. So, readers of this, tell me your experience with book retailers through Amazon. I would like to know some fast and efficient book sellers on Amazon. I like books to be available like my coffee, fast. |

Have you gone to What the Book in Itaewon? I have ordered books from Amazon.com but the shipping is pretty expensive. You can order through What the Book with free shipping (if you order W25,000+) too. |

I was equally pissed of when Borders back home had such a limited selection of Korean History books in Korean. Canada must be so illiterate.
Ya uhmm do you understand your in foreigner country where English is not the primary language. Plus why would a book store stock unique esoteric book for that 1 in 10,000 chance somebody may want to buy it.
Also which Kyobo did you go to. The one near the American Embassy has an okay selection.
But "What the Book!" is pretty good for ordering. They will order from Amazon for you, saves on some of the costs with shipping.
You could also order from Amazon but getting quickly will cost you for the shipping.

Kyobo will order anything you want, and have it delivered to you.
I like bookdepository myself. Free worldwide shipping. DO compare the prices though - sometimes they are high and you can get the same thing from Amazon cheaper INCLUDING shipping.
What the book sucks. Overpriced and underwhelming. |

OK, ebook reader+torrents will solve all your problems for eternity and very very cheaply. For the moment, the powers that be are not cracking down on ebook piracy, so it's quite safe. |
